I am Joshua Edwards Davenport, born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. I have been a lifelong aviation enthusiast. Since I was a young boy, my love for aviation began during my first airplane ride to visit my grandparents. I vividly remember being found in the flight deck, talking to the pilots. I never realized how much that moment would impact my life.

For much of my life, I didn't believe I could become a pilot. However, I was inspired by a few words from a former F-16 pilot: "Don’t tell yourself no. Make them tell you no." After hearing those words, I pursued my pilot's certificate with passion, working two jobs to afford my first flight lessons. Eventually, I earned a scholarship with the Red Tails Flight Academy, where I obtained my Private Pilot Certificate.

Where there is passion, all you must do is pursue it with everything you have, and your dreams will come true.
