D’Asha Davis
D’Asha is a Texas native that moved to Georgia at a very early age. She played tennis throughout her youth which earned her a full ride to Georgia Perimeter College earning her Associates Degree. She later attended Hofstra University, earning her spot on a Division I tennis team and allowing her to attain her Bachelors in Journalism.
After graduating, D’Asha had the opportunity to teach English in South Korea. With a love for exploration, a curious personality, and a passion for learning she took on the challenge of living and working in another county.
Upon her return to the United States, she thought long and hard about what she wanted her future to look like and considered how she could fulfill that love of exploration. She decided on a discovery flight and fell in love with the gift of flight. She started her training although it was one of the toughest things she had done she earned her Private Pilots Certificate.
Her dream is to keep exploring the skies and work with a large carrier while exploring more of the world along the way. She hopes to give back to the aviation community and help the next generation reach their dreams of flight.
With great appreciation, D’Asha became an official Red Tail Scholar in the fall of 2024.
