San Francisco, CA
Ayinde Chism was born in San Francisco, California where his interest in aviation and engineering developed. At a young age, Ayinde was always interested in how things worked, often taking apart his toys and putting them back together. This influenced him to begin focusing on Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) related subjects. His love for aviation came from an early exposure to air shows during Fleet Week in San Francisco. The complex performances put on by the Blue Angels left him awestruck and he could only dream about one day performing the same aerobatic maneuvers in front of large crowds. Ayinde began attending Tuskegee University as an Aerospace Science Engineering Major in the fall of 2016. Ayinde is currently in USAF Pilot Training at Columbus AFB.
