Breanna Amstutz is from Atlanta Georgia. Flying has always been a passion of hers that she picked up from her inspiring father. He was a Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk pilot for the Army, and once he retired, he flew the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma in Afghanistan, and on the weekends he would do low approaches by the airport near their house as a way to say hi. 

Breanna watched her father overcome many adversities from being the only African American pilot where he was stationed. Her father passed his flying torch to Breanna and taught her at a young age that she would have to work twice as hard for the same recognition because she is a black woman in aviation. 

As her father is not here with us anymore, Breanna always feels his presence in the cockpit as she flies.
